TV Show of the Week: "My Three Nuns"

1/2 hour weekly situation comedy. An idealistic young priest, Father Michael Martin (Anthony Edwards) becomes the new pastor of urban wasteland parish, Saint Roxie's. Unbeknownst to him, he's been sent to reign in three rowdy Holy Cross Nuns, former teachers at the long-closed parish school, who are still at Saint Roxie's because no other convent would take them. Sister Bea (Beatrice Arthur), Sister Kaye (Kaye Ballard), and Sister Phyllis (Phyllis Diller), had the former pastor under their thumb, and resent Father Mike giving them orders. When he threatens to cancel their weekly "Casino Night" unless they stop keeping the money and using marked cards, the sisters fight back by arranging for a male Strip-O-Gram to be delivered to Father Mike during his meeting with the Bishop (former U.S. Senator Bob Dole).
